I am a driven professional with a solid foundation in bench-to-bedside research, harboring a keen interest in evolving into a physician-scientist. My academic and professional efforts have led to the completion of two concurrent master’s degrees, leadership in the clinical research industry, numerous research publications and presentations, and certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) as a Project Manager (ACRP-PM) and Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC).

Currently, I work as a NIH Graduate Research Fellow at the University of South Carolina Big Data Health Science Center and in higher education as an Adjunct Professor at the University of West Florida while applying to dual doctoral (M.D./Ph.D.) programs. I aim to synthesize my knowledge of the biomedical sciences, clinical research, and data science to become a physician-scientist capable of seamlessly integrating clinical care with clinical research in a way that maximizes evidence-based care options for my patients.

As a science communicator and professor, I excel in both oral and written communication, frequently teaching, explaining, and presenting complex information and industry jargon to diverse audiences, including those without a scientific background. Recognizing the significance of teaching and mentorship, I am dedicated to honoring the legacy of my mentors by guiding others with utmost dedication and expertise.
